You Are Now In the Inspection Phase

Here are best practices and if I could take this opportunity to say....the email templates in this particular phase are non-negotiable for me!

Why? Because they been designed to provide clear communication with the client, and are also a conduit for great team communication. The initial email template sets the stage for what additional action items are to be taken. All responses or information about those additional steps should be made in that same strand to keep everyone informed. If you have a conversation with a vendor or the client about any inspection-related information, it is a great practice to do a recap in the same strand so everyone else is on the same page.

Let's walk through what this process could all look like—

  1. The home inspection has been received and you've had a call with your buyers to review it.

  2. Next, you want to recap the call and highlight any items that need additional evaluation. You will use the "Buyer Home Inspection Recap" template to do this. If there are no other action items, you still want to send out a recap to confirm the conversation with the client on the phone so that everyone is on the same page.

  3. Next, if applicable, you will be working through getting additional estimates and/or answers. Remember to respond and provide those updates in the email strand.

Hope this helps!
