Starting the home search: once you understand how much you can afford, it’s time to start the home search. I know....you can search everything online but have you ever heard that saying about searching everything usually leads to finding nothing?

Here are a few great questions and considerations

Do you want a single-family home, condo, or townhome?

Just because you qualify for a certain amount doesn’t mean you have to spend that much.

Don’t believe everything you see on the internet.

One thing for sure is that you can change almost anything about a property except for it's location! Focus on community and neighborhoods first.

How long do you plan to stay in the property?

How much space do you really need? Bed, bath? Our advice is not to focus on square footage initially because layout and function can often be more important than square footage.

Realistically how much work can you do to a home OR do you want to do to the home?
