✨In the Canva file for this one, you will find one short video clip REEL with animated text. You should change the video to a video of the area you are highlighting. It can be as simple as a video of a Christmas tree farm, a house you have sold, a video of you walking through town, at the park, or the local coffee shop.....there are no rules other than you want it to be authentic to you and to the area you are featuring.
📌CANVA FILE CAN BE FOUND HERE.
CANVA NOTE: There is a black transparent overlay on top of the video. To change the video, click on the image, and at the top right click POSITION, then on the left panel that appears click BACKWARD. This moves the overlay to the back, you can then drag and drop a new video into place, click POSITION again, clicc backward until the overlay is back on top
Here are the prompts for your caption. Add whatever you know people love about the community. Be specific with the data. Be careful not to violate any Fair Housing when you talk about Who Lives Here.
You can copy and paste these prompts into the caption on your post and edit from there but I like to write my captions in my Notes app on my phone and then copy that into IG.
7 Things to Know Before Moving to [Your City or Neighborhood]
Thinking about making the move to [your city]? Here’s what potential buyers want to know—
✅Cost of Living: Is it budget-friendly, or will it stretch the wallet? Let’s talk numbers.
✅Schools and Education: From public to private options, what’s available for families?
✅Weather Realities: Love sunshine or prefer seasons? Here’s what to expect year-round.
✅Lifestyle Perks: Activities, dining, parks, and all the ways to spend your weekends.
✅Who Lives Here: Demographics can reveal the vibe of your future neighborhood.
✅Housing Costs: What’s the average home price, and what can you get for your budget?
✅What’s on the Market: From dreamy listings to fixer-uppers, I’ll show you where to start your search.
📌PRO TIP: No need to worry about hashtags....IG is not really using them anymore. If highlighting a neighborhood, you should still use the bigger area in your caption for searchability. For example if you are featuring Multnomah Village, I would make sure I use Multnomah Village and Portland in the caption or Murray Hill neighborhood in Beaverton.
